[RARE?]Lost POP3 emails after transport crash!
Hi there,
I got a rare problem.
Past week I setup a SBS Exchange 2003 Server.
Everything configured, and then I set the POP3 Connector to retrieve messages.
So then it cames with the following events:
ID: 1061
Source: POP3 Connector
An error occurred in loading the deliverer for message id<{015EBF00-728A-4E0B-BE99-98A28EEAA2E6}>. Any messages that use this deliverer will not be delivered.
This was the trigger for around 30 more events like this:
ID: 1062
Source: POP3 Connector
The message <id:{015EBF00-728A-4E0B-BE99-98A28EEAA2E6}> cannot be delivered due to a problem in the initialization of its deliverer.
Every mail has a guid, so I lost track of that 30 important mails which was removed from the external server.
So, immediately I stopped POP3 Retrieving mails and made a Backup of the Store.
After many things I discovered that Exchange installation was damaged, due telnet. The connection between SMTP Server and Storage was broken, not allowing the messages to be delivered. I reinstalled exchange and all is working fine now.
But now, how do I recover those messages? There is no mailbox with them, the only I guess is the System Mailbox, which I tried to access via MAPI, but I couldnt find anything.
I'm afraid about the destination about that messages, I couldnt imagine they are lost forever.
Could someone please help me with this one?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The issue involves Pop3 connector, Pop3 connector is particular components of SBS. I suggest you write a post on our SBS newsgroup to get help from product experts.
